Alcazaba & Cathedral

ALCAZABA

Alcazaba is a muslim citadel built on a spur of hill overlooking the city. The site was formed by a fortress and there's an ancient amphitheatre at it's foot. The Alcazaba was built by the muslims starting around the year 1057. There are other Alcazabas in other towns and cities in Spain such as the Alhambra in Granada.

CATHEDRAL

It's one of the most important buildings in Malaga. The Cathedral has the peculiar name "La Manquita" because it doesn't have a tower. Itś located in Molina Lario street in the city centre. The Cathedral of malaga is a roman Catholic Renaissance church. It's was built between 1528 and 1782.

My City

Malaga is in the south of Spain. It's a Mediterranean city. More than 500.000 people live here. The people speak spanish.

Malaga is a great place to visit! You can see museums, parks and beautiful beaches. The footbal team is called Malaga C.F. and you can see in Rosaleda. The traditional food is fried fish. The traditional festival is the Fair.

The best ways to move is by bus, by car or now; by undergruound. In winter it's warm but it's doesn't snow, in summer it's hot but there are a lot of swimming pools and beaches.

My Free Time

Hi Carmen!
How are things in Italy? Sorry for not replying you before.

In your message you asked me about my sports. I'm into swimming and tennis, i'm also into music. I love pop music, my favourite singer is Pablo Alborán and my favourite group is Auryn. How about you? I also like some reggae songs and I hate clssical music because it is boring. I like taking photos, can you send me a photo of Italy, please?

I also go shopping at the weekend. My favourite shops are "Stradivarius" and "Berska". Do you like them?
