Alcazaba & Cathedral

ALCAZABA

Alcazaba is a muslim citadel built on a spur of hill overlooking the city. The site was formed by a fortress and there's an ancient amphitheatre at it's foot. The Alcazaba was built by the muslims starting around the year 1057. There are other Alcazabas in other towns and cities in Spain such as the Alhambra in Granada.


CATHEDRAL

It's one of the most important buildings in Malaga. The Cathedral has the peculiar name "La Manquita" because it doesn't have a tower. Itś located in Molina Lario street in the city centre. The Cathedral of malaga is a roman Catholic Renaissance church. It's was built between 1528 and 1782.
